To celebrate the fab four’s famous album turning 50 this summer, Liverpool have put on 13 events across the city – one for each of the original tracks. Artists from across the globe are joining local musicians to bring the album to life like never before. Whether you’re a fan or not, this is an event not to be missed!

Hope University International Tennis Tournament


If sports is more your thing, make sure you get down to the Hope University tennis tournament to see Marcus Willis kick off his 2017 campaign. Fresh from facing Roger Federer at last year’s Wimbledon,  Willis will be joined by a number of other exciting tennis pros at what has become the largest tennis exhibition in Europe.

The Mersey River Festival celebrates the city’s historic waterfront through a huge collection of events – with everything from tall ships to water polo scheduled for the three-day celebration. Make sure to stop by the iconic docks in the city centre while you have the chance!

Africa Oye 2017
